Placing an order

We offer a complimentary taster and design consultation service to discuss your requirements and will be happy to advise you with regards to colours, flavours, filling combinations and portion size.  All cakes are made to order and can be customised to suit your requirements.

We kindly request three months notice for all wedding cakes and one month for birthdays and other celebrations, although depending on our schedule late bookings may be accommodated.  A £200 non-refundable deposit is required on order confirmation.  The balance is payable two weeks prior to delivery or collection of the cake.  We accept payment by BACS or cheque.

Alterations

Alterations may be made to your order no later than two weeks prior to delivery or collection subject to our discretion and we may charge you for any additional costs accrued.

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your order and production of your order has commenced, you may be charged for any components already made.

Delivery and Collection

Delivery charges will be quoted at time of order and include liaison with the banqueting team at your venue and assembly of the cake.  If your cake design requires fresh flowers, your florist will supply these.  We will liaise directly with your florist regarding the specific floral requirements and we will decorate the cake with the flowers on site.
If you wish to collect your order from us we will be happy to advise on transportation, storage and assembly of your cake.  If the cake is collected by client or courier, Jess Hill Cakes is not liable for any damages to the cake once it has left our premises.
